7-Day Kalari & Yoga Program in Wayanad for Mind-Body Reconnection

Duration: 7 Days
Location: Wayanad, Kerala, India
Program Type: Residential Program
Format: English, Malayalam
Program Overview

A 7-day Wayanad program blending Kalari, yoga, nature and culture for deeper mind-body connection.

Step away from everyday routines and spend seven days experiencing Wayanad through movement, nature and Kerala's living traditions.

Mornings are anchored by Kalaripayattu and yoga, introducing foundational movement, posture, breathing and body awareness. Beyond the practice space, the journey opens into Wayanad itself through forests, ancient sites, farms, local food and cultural encounters.

Participants trace the roots of Kalari through the historic Vadakara trail, experience traditional archery, meet farming communities, explore landscapes such as Kuruva Dweep and Edakkal Caves, and spend time understanding the relationship between people, land and tradition.

The rhythm also makes space for recovery. A traditional Kalari Uzhichil experience complements the active days, while cultural evenings, shared meals and comfortable accommodation allow the week to unfold without feeling like a conventional sightseeing tour.

The intention is not mastery of Kalari in seven days. It is to experience movement, breath, nature and culture together, and return with greater awareness of how the body, surroundings and daily rhythm can reconnect.
