Why this document exists
Money is where trust is won or lost on a marketplace. A seeker needs to know exactly what they are paying and that nothing appears later. A Healthmate needs to know exactly what arrives, when, and what was taken out of it.
So this document states the arithmetic rather than describing it. Where a number is uncomfortable, it is written down anyway, because discovering it at the first settlement is far worse than reading it here.
LIFED is operated by Holobiont Private Limited, CIN U86900KL2025PTC093335, registered at Room No. 432/10, Shoranur Govt. Press P.O, Kulappulli, Ottapalam, Palakkad – 679122, Kerala.
These Terms form part of the Seeker Terms and Conditions and Healthmate Terms and Conditions , and are read alongside the Cancellation and Refund Policy .
How money moves through LIFED
1.1 In one line. The seeker pays at booking, the money is held by a regulated payment partner, and the Healthmate is paid weekly once the program has been delivered.
The seeker pays the full all-in price.
Funds sit with the regulated payment partner.
The Healthmate delivers the program.
The delivered booking becomes eligible.
Commission and applicable deductions are shown and the balance is paid.
1.3 LIFED collects the seeker's payment as the Healthmate's limited collection agent for that booking. Payment through that channel fully discharges the seeker's obligation to pay the Healthmate.
A seeker who has paid through LIFED has paid, and cannot be asked for the same amount again.
1.4 Funds are not treated as LIFED operating money. This structure supports seeker refunds and keeps Healthmate earnings separate from LIFED's own working-capital position.
What a seeker pays
2.1 All-in pricing. Every program page shows one total price. It includes everything described as included and applicable taxes.
2.2 There is no separate LIFED fee. Seekers are not charged a booking, platform, convenience or service fee.
2.3 Example checkout
| Line | Example |
|---|---|
| Program price, inclusive of tax | ₹13,999 |
| GST component | Shown separately for your records |
| LIFED booking fee | Nil |
| Payment processing fee | Nil |
| Total payable | ₹13,999 |
2.4 Optional extras are shown separately, priced separately and are never pre-selected.
2.5 Payment is taken at booking. Your selection is held briefly while payment completes.
2.6 Supported payment methods may include UPI, credit card, debit card, net banking, supported wallets and eligible international cards.
2.7 A booking exists only when LIFED sends a booking confirmation. A bank debit, pending status or Healthmate message is not confirmation.
If money leaves your account without confirmation, contact support@lifedhealth.com .
2.8 Where payment is made in another currency, the conversion rate applied by the payment partner is shown before confirmation.
2.9 A Healthmate may not demand an additional payment for anything already covered by the booking.
2.10 A confirmed booking is never repriced.
2.11 Refunds follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy and are calculated on the full eligible amount paid.
2.12 A tax invoice is provided with the booking confirmation. Depending on program type and registration status, the invoice may be issued by the Healthmate or LIFED.

3.9 Commission changes require 60 days' written notice and do not affect existing confirmed bookings.
Settlement: when the money arrives
4.1 A booking becomes eligible when:
- the program or relevant delivered session has been completed;
- the applicable cancellation window has closed;
- no dispute, chargeback, safety investigation or grievance is open;
- KYC and payout details remain verified.
4.2 Settlement normally follows delivery because some or all of the booking amount may still be refundable before then.
The weekly cut-off is Sunday at 23:59 IST. Eligible earnings up to the cut-off are paid within 7 days.
4.4 Where a booking spans a settlement cut-off, delivered portions may become eligible in different cycles where applicable.
4.5 Advance release
Some bookings may qualify for release of part of the Healthmate's net amount before completion, usually following confirmed guest arrival.
Qualification and proportion are determined by LIFED based principally on booking value and seasonal or peak-period considerations.
Where an advance applies, it appears in the dashboard and relevant Healthmate commercial schedule.
Advance release is a facility rather than an entitlement and may be changed for future bookings on notice.
Where an advanced booking is later refunded or cancelled, the advance may be recovered according to Section 5.
4.6 Every settlement cycle shows bookings included, commission, deductions, net payment, expected date and the reason any booking was excluded.
4.7 A minimum settlement threshold of ₹1,000 applies. Smaller balances roll forward. Any final balance is paid when the account closes.
4.8 Bank holidays and banking outages may affect timing. LIFED is not responsible for delay or misdirection resulting from payout information supplied incorrectly by the Healthmate.
Deductions, holds and recoveries
5.1 The following are the categories that may be deducted, each with a stated reason:
- seeker refunds;
- Healthmate cancellation charges;
- qualifying chargebacks and payment reversals;
- agreed seeker remedies;
- advances against later-refunded bookings;
- statutory deductions;
- amounts properly owed under the Healthmate Terms;
- amounts held during an active investigation.
Nothing outside the categories stated in these Terms may be deducted.
5.2 Investigation holds may normally last up to 30 days, with extensions only where an external legal, chargeback or safety process requires it.
5.3 A non-routine deduction greater than ₹5,000 or 10% of a cycle normally receives written notice and a 7-day response period.
5.4 Where a hold lasts more than 45 days and is not substantiated, the amount is released with interest at 12% per annum for the full hold period.
5.5 Undisputed money is not held because a separate matter is disputed.
5.6 A Healthmate is not charged for a chargeback where investigation confirms the program was delivered as described.
Payout methods and currency
6.1 Indian Healthmates may receive settlement by:
- bank transfer through NEFT, IMPS or RTGS; or
- UPI to a registered UPI ID.
6.2 LIFED does not pay settlements by cheque.
6.3 Only one registered payout destination may be active at a time and it must belong to the Healthmate or registered entity.
6.4 A payout-detail change triggers re-verification and may delay a settlement cycle.
6.5 Indian Healthmates are settled in INR. Cross-currency conversion on the seeker's side does not expose the Healthmate to later exchange-rate movements.
6.6 Cross-border settlement to Healthmates outside India is governed by a separate addendum.
GST and tax
7.1 LIFED is registered for GST as an electronic commerce operator under [GSTIN].
7.2 GST is charged on LIFED's commission at the applicable rate and shown separately on the Healthmate tax invoice.
7.3 For supplies to which Section 52 of the CGST Act applies, LIFED collects TCS at the applicable rate and reports it so the Healthmate can claim the appropriate credit.
7.4 Where Section 9(5) treatment applies to qualifying accommodation supplies, the settlement statement states that treatment explicitly.
7.5 TDS under Section 194-O of the Income-tax Act, 1961 may apply to the gross amount facilitated through the platform at the rate in force.
Applicable certificates are made available to the Healthmate.
7.6 For accommodation-based programs, applicable place-of-supply rules may depend on the location of the property.
7.7 Healthmates remain responsible for their own registrations, returns, invoicing and compliance. LIFED does not provide tax advice.
7.8 Changes to tax-registration status must be reported within 7 days.
7.9 Tax rates stated in these Terms are rates applying at the effective date. Where law changes them, the legally applicable rate takes effect accordingly.
Disputes about money
8.1 Seeker payment or refund disputes
A seeker may raise a dispute through the platform or using the LIFED support channels.
We acknowledge qualifying disputes within 48 hours, investigate both sides and aim to provide a written decision within 30 days.
An internal review may be requested within 30 days and is handled by a different person.
Consumer rights to approach the appropriate Consumer Commission or National Consumer Helpline remain unaffected.
8.2 Healthmate settlement disputes
Settlement queries must be raised through the dashboard within 30 days after the settlement statement.
LIFED acknowledges within 3 working days and aims to resolve them within 15 working days.
Where LIFED made an error, the correction is paid in the next cycle with an explanation.
8.3 Healthmate disputes about seeker refunds
Healthmates should respond within 7 days after notice of the refund request and provide relevant evidence.
LIFED considers both accounts against the Cancellation and Refund Policy and the program page as published.
A written decision is normally issued within 15 working days.
8.4 Formal resolution
Healthmate disputes follow the dispute mechanism in the Healthmate Terms, including good-faith discussion and, where applicable, arbitration.
Seekers retain the consumer dispute mechanisms available under law and are not required to arbitrate.
8.5 Chargebacks
Seekers are encouraged to use LIFED's dispute process first. Where a chargeback relates to a properly delivered booking, LIFED may contest it with evidence.
A refund cannot be paid twice while the same amount remains subject to an unresolved chargeback.
Payment security
LIFED does not receive or store full card numbers, CVVs or card PINs.
Relevant platform information is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS and protected at rest.
Changes to Healthmate payout destinations trigger verification before payment.
Suspicious bookings, collusion, fabricated transactions or circumvention may trigger investigation.
9.1 Payments are processed through our regulated payment partner, [PAYMENT PARTNER NAME].
9.2 LIFED retains the payment metadata required to reconcile bookings, issue refunds and comply with accounting requirements.
9.5 LIFED may temporarily suspend settlement while investigating reasonably suspected fraud, fabricated bookings, collusion or deliberate platform circumvention.
9.6 No system is perfectly secure. LIFED commits to reasonable security safeguards, incident-response procedures and appropriate notification.
See the Privacy Policy .
Records
10.1 LIFED retains transaction records for 8 years in accordance with applicable company and tax requirements.
10.2 Healthmates can download settlement statements, commission invoices and applicable tax certificates from their dashboard.
10.3 Seekers can access booking invoices and refund statements through their dashboard.
